John
Practice Administrator
As the Practice Administrator, John manages all non-clinical operations at Montclair Orthodontics. In addition to being our Practice Administrator, John is Dr. Rubino’s husband. Outside of Montclair Orthodontics, John has had a very successful career as a data and technology executive. He was born and raised in Westchester County, NY. John earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Administration degrees from Cornell University and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management and Master of Science in Information Systems degree from Stevens Institute of Technology. John and Dr. Rubino relocated to Montclair in 2009, where they are thrilled to be raising their two boys. John is an assistant coach on his sons’ travel and Little League baseball teams. When time permits outside of youth baseball commitments, John loves to cook, read (especially about U.S. History), go running, and spend as much time as possible with Dr. Rubino and their sons traveling, dining at Montclair’s many amazing restaurants and volunteering in the community.
Vivi
Registered Dental Assistant, Team Lead
Vivi was born and raised in Brazil. She came to the United States to pursue her dream to learn English and challenge herself. Vivi earned her RDA in 2017, has been working with us since 2019, and loves orthodontics! The most rewarding aspect of dentistry for her is seeing how changing a person’s smile can transform their life. Vivi enjoys outdoor activities, yoga, meditation and attending live concerts.
Ibett
Registered Dental Assistant
Ibett was born and raised in Ecuador, where she studied dentistry before moving to the United States six years ago. She has continued her career in the dental field ever since, driven by her passion for helping patients. Outside of work, Ibett enjoys spending time with her dog, Luna, and loves both caring for pets and seeing beautiful smiles every day.
Crystala
Registered Dental Assistant
Crystala is an experienced dental assistant who loves making patients feel comfortable and seeing them smile. She’s a big family person, an animal lover, and is passionate about fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. Crystala enjoys a few fun side gigs outside of her work at Montclair Orthodontics, which keeps her life fun but simple.
Elizabeth
Front Desk Associate
Elizabeth joined the Montclair Orthodontics team after a long career in administration, sales and customer service. She enjoys volunteering, cycling, hiking, cooking, and all things outdoors. Elizabeth has four wonderful children (including her son-in-law) and loves spending time with her family, traveling and relaxing at the beach. Elizabeth has a deep passion for working with children and has instructed and volunteered for many youth programs. She is also an animal lover and cares for her adopted cat.
Myrna
Front Desk Associate
Myrna is originally from Texas and has worked in the orthodontic field for over 10 years. She spent time in the Dominican Republic volunteering in a deaf community, an experience that deepened her passion for helping others. Outside the office, Myrna loves to bake—her Chocoflan is always a fan favorite!
