John
Practice Manager
Although John isn’t pictured in our team photo, he is a crucial member of the Montclair Orthodontics team. As the Practice Manager, John manages all non-clinical operations at Montclair Orthodontics. In addition to being our Practice Manager, John is Dr. Rubino’s husband. Outside of Montclair Orthodontics, John has had a very successful career as a data and technology executive. He was born and raised in Westchester County, NY. John earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Administration degrees from Cornell University and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management and Master of Science in Information Systems degree from Stevens Institute of Technology. John and Dr. Rubino relocated to Montclair in 2009, where they are thrilled to be raising their two boys. John is an assistant coach on his sons’ travel and Little League baseball teams. When time permits outside of youth baseball commitments, John loves to cook, read (especially about U.S. History), go running, and spend as much time as possible with Dr. Rubino and their sons traveling, dining at Montclair’s many amazing restaurants and volunteering in the community.
Judy
Registered Dental Assistant / Front Desk Associate
Judy has been in the dental field since 1979 and started here in 1990. She assists in the treatment area as well as at the front desk. Judy also enjoys decorating our office for the various holidays! Judy loves working with a great team, great patients and enjoys the upbeat and positive atmosphere in the office. She is a native of Bloomfield, NJ, and lives there with her son, Christopher. She enjoys spending free time having fun with family and friends.
Vivi
Registered Dental Assistant
Vivi was born and raised in Brazil. She came to the United States to pursue her dream to learn English and challenge herself. Vivi earned her RDA in 2017, has been working with us since 2019, and loves orthodontics! The most rewarding aspect of dentistry for her is seeing how changing a person’s smile can transform their life. Vivi enjoys outdoor activities, yoga, meditation and attending live concerts.
Carol
Registered Dental Assistant
Carol has been in the dental field since 2006 and earned her RDA in 2013. She loves working with children of all ages and seeing the smile transformations from orthodontic treatment. Carol is a native of Colombia and moved to the USA when she was 18. She lives in Clifton with her lovely family: her fiancé Ivan and her sons Samuel and Esteban. She loves to travel and enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends.
Nicole
Front Desk Associate
Nicole has been in the dental field for 5 years and loves everything about teeth and the sight of our patients’ beautiful smiles. Her hobbies include hiking, skiing and walking. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Nicole has been a proud New Jerseyan since 2018. Nicole’s favorite sports team is the Buffalo Bills and is a huge dog lover. Go Bills!
